EDITH WELLINGTON SMITH
Edith Wellington Smith has had a long career as an artist and educator. Her early studies in art, education, eastern philosophy and archaeological illustration have manifested themselves into diverse media and artistic practices. "Edie" has traveled extensively, working on archaeological digs in the Yucatan where she was the illustrator for three years at an Olmac site, to taking spiritual pilgrimages throughout India. Asia and the Himilayas to holy and sacred places. All of this is expressed in her art.
